Special Ex - JBOX Level transmitter cable joint IP65

Description :

External terminal box for extending the connection cable of an EX level probe in EX zone 1. The terminal point of the EX cable is marked as a warning with the imprint "Ex" and the blue PG-Vs.

This junction box is particularly suitable for use in the dome shaft of underground tanks or for mounting on external tanks. It identifies the signal cables with regard to the explosive storage medium, for example in the case of VK tanks.

- 1 PG screw connection as access for the probe cable

- 1 PG screw connection as an outlet for the signal
   cable leading to the  evaluation device, e.g. 2 x 0.4 mm 2 .

This special junction box is impervious to water and moisture. At the same time, the can is ventilated (ventilated) through a hygroscopic filter. The measuring cell of the connected relative pressure probe receives the important air pressure compensation via the capillary in the immersion cable.
 
The specialist fitter has to ensure that the cable sheath of the level probe is protected against electrostatic charging, e.g. through friction!
