TANK SPY DIGITAL LX-2-R
Description :

 

The LX-2-R is a professional electronic tank level indicator with two integrated control relays. This enables level-dependent switch-on and switch-off processes to be implemented. For example, a water make-up function with the relay hold area can also be set in a cistern.
In the case of a fuel oil tank farm with 2 separate oil tanks, a tank switch-over controlled by the LX-2-R device via solenoid valves can be implemented, as well as a priority switch and reserve switch-over.
The device set consists of a probe for recording the current tank content, combined with a digital evaluation device.
The LX-2-R display unit is set once during installation using the control buttons. Depending on the setting, the display shows:

Relay functions:
In addition to the measurement and display functions, the LX-2-R also offers switching functions via two output relays.
The switching points and the hold range of the relays can be set independently of each other.
For example, solenoid valves can be switched. This makes it easy to automatically switch between two or more individual tanks.
In the case of cisterns, the inlet and outlet can be controlled depending on the level, or pump protection can be implemented in the event of dryness.
In addition, signal circuits can be switched when certain limit levels are undershot or exceeded.

In the case of heating oil basement tanks, installation is easy and problem-free.
In the case of external tanks, this should be done by a specialist fitter.
